This role combines technician and customer‑facing responsibilities, requiring strong communication, reliable vehicle upkeep, accurate documentation, adherence to safety protocols, and participation in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; general appliance repair knowledge preferred.
• Excellent customer service and professional communication skills.
• Ability to diagnose and repair major appliances and work flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete in‑home repairs on GE Appliances’ major appliances.
• Advise on repair vs replacement based on cost‑effectiveness and customer needs.
• Promote and sell service contracts, water filters, and related products.
• Operate and maintain a Bodewell service van and route records.
• Document repairs, routes, and work activities accurately.
• Attend training sessions and meetings to maintain expertise.
• Manage inventory and vehicle maintenance; ensure safety protocols.
