GE Appliances, a Haier company, seeks an Appliance Care Technician to diagnose and repair major appliances at customer homes in Fairfax, VA. You will also promote service plans and accessories, while upholding brand standards and delivering superior customer experience.

The role includes driving a company van, using mobile tools, and maintaining accuracy in reporting repairs and inventory. Training and benefits start from day one for a dynamic team player.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of appliance repair, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or property maintenance experience.
• Valid state driver’s license; able to pass background check, physical, and drug screen.
• CFC Certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete in-home repairs on GE Appliances’ major appliances.
• Recommend repair vs replacement based on cost-effectiveness and customer needs.
• Promote and sell service contracts, water filters and related products.
• Operate an assigned Bodewell service van to customer locations.
• Document repairs, routes and work activities accurately.
• Participate in training sessions, meetings and events to maintain industry expertise.
• Manage inventory and maintenance of your service vehicle.
• Deliver high-quality service and maintain strong customer satisfaction.
