GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking an Appliance Service Technician for the Hudson Valley region (Newburgh/Fishkill/Hopewell Junction/Middletown, NY). You will diagnose and repair major GE appliances, advise customers on service plans, and represent the brand with professionalism.

The role includes driving a Bodewell service van, maintaining equipment, completing documentation, engaging in ongoing training, and promoting value-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in appliance repair or related field.
• Ability to diagnose and repair major appliances.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook/Teams).
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background/drug screens.
• Willingness to obtain CFC certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete in-home repairs on GE appliances.
• Advise customer on repair vs. replacement and pricing.
• Promote service contracts and related products for value-driven solutions.
• Operate assigned service van and document repairs and routes.
• Attend training and maintain vehicle and inventory.
• Deliver high-quality service and ensure customer satisfaction.
