Job summary

Step Up Family Services LLC seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Technician (BT) to implement individualized ABA programs for children with autism in home settings under the direct supervision of a BCBA. The role involves delivering 1:1 therapy and collecting data.

You will support skill acquisition, apply behavior reduction strategies, and collaborate with families and the clinical team to ensure client progress and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; related degree preferred.
• RBT certification preferred; required within 90 days of employment if applicable.
• Experience with children or developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy under supervising BCBA.
• Record client progress using electronic data systems.
• Implement skill acquisition programs for communication, social, adaptive, and academic skills.
• Follow behavior reduction protocols as designed by the BCBA.
• Assist with generalization of skills across environments, people, and settings.
• Provide reinforcement, prompting, and other ABA techniques per the plan.
• Maintain professional conduct per BACB guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team meetings.
