Job summary

Merrimack Autism Consultants is hiring part-time behavior therapists to provide 1:1 in-home ABA services for children and adolescents with autism in Massachusetts. You will implement individualized behavior plans under supervision and collect progress data to monitor client outcomes.

Sessions typically occur between 2:30 pm and 8:30 pm, with some mornings available, and the role offers flexible scheduling, paid training, and opportunities for professional growth within the ABA field.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Registered Behavior Therapist or have 3 months working with children with autism.
• High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in psychology/ABA or related field.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with clients with autism using ABA techniques.
• Sessions conducted in the client’s home or community.
• Provide coaching to parents/caregivers for behavior plan implementation.
• Daily data collection to monitor progress and ensure objectives are met.
• Communicate promptly with family and supervisor.
• Complete 40 hours of RBT training and pass the test within 90 days of hire.
