Job summary

Everypiececountsaba is seeking Behavior Technicians to deliver in-home ABA services in Randolph and Mountain Lakes, NJ. You will implement 1:1 ABA programs under BCBA direction and collect data.

Responsibilities include data collection in CentralReach, assisting clients to acquire new skills, and reinforcing positive behaviors. You will pursue RBT certification within 90 days and participate in paid trainings with our Training Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, especially with developmental disabilities.
• Understanding of autism spectrum disorders and related challenges.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Patience, empathy and a genuine desire to help children with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 in-home ABA services by implementing ABAs under BCBA direction.
• Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs as written by VBABA/BCBA.
• Collect and graph data using CentralReach data system.
• Complete requirements to become a Registered Behavior Technician within 90 days.
• Attend and complete trainings, both in-person and virtual, with Training Coordinator (paid at training rate).
• Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage skill development and reduce challenging behaviors.
