Job summary

Achievement Behavior Services (ABS) is seeking a part-time ABA Behavior Technician to work 1:1 with children in home or community settings in Mercer County, NJ. You will implement BIPs, teach communication and daily living skills, and collect data under the supervision of a BCBA.

The role offers mentorship from BCBAs, potential RBT certification, and a supportive team environment focused on patient progress and family collaboration.

Qualifications

• Background in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, Human Services, or related fields.
• Experience working with children, especially those with ASD or developmental delays.
• Strong communication & data collection skills.
• Professional, reliable, and compassionate.
• Certifications (preferred): RBT, Mandated Reporter, CPR/First Aid, Crisis Intervention.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with a student in their home or community.
• Implement the Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) created by a supervising BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills through structured and play-based learning.
• Collect data and document session notes.
• Collaborate with families and your supervising BCBA.
