Job summary

Golden Steps ABA, LLC is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work one-on-one with children and young adults with autism in in-home and community settings. You will implement treatment plans under supervision of a BCBA, and collaborate with a clinical team to support client progress.

The role emphasizes building communication, social, and daily living skills through individualized sessions, with ongoing BCBA supervision, paid training, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Current RBT certification or willingness to complete RBT training and certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clear communication, reliability, and a commitment to learning.
• Experience working with children or individuals with autism or disabilities is helpful, but not required.
• Ability to meet applicable background check requirements.
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation if travel to client homes is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills through individualized sessions.
• Use the treatment strategies and behavior support plans developed for each client.
• Record session data and complete documentation accurately and on time.
• Share observations and questions with your supervising BCBA.
• Participate in supervision, training, and team meetings.
• Build respectful, professional relationships with clients and families.
