Job summary

Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking aBehavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home and community ABA services for individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism, in Emporia, Kansas. You will implement intervention plans, collect data on client behavior, and assist in care plan development under BCBA supervision.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, teamwork, and strong communication. It is in-person with travel as required; a high school diploma and being 18+ are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Collect data on client behavior during sessions
• Assist in the development and implementation of care plans
• Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination
