Job summary

Achieving Stars Therapy in Denver, CO seeks a dedicated Behavior Technician to provide in-home and community ABA services under supervision. This part-time role focuses on supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism, to build new skills and reduce challenging behaviors.

You will work closely with a BCBA, collect data, maintain confidential records, and uphold HIPAA standards while fostering respectful, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect data on client behavior during sessions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of care plans.
• Utilize ABA techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination.
