Job summary

Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team in Arvada, Colorado. The role involves providing in-home and community-based ABA services to individuals with developmental disabilities, with supervision by a BCBA.

You will implement behavior plans, collect data, and support clients in acquiring new skills. The position offers both full-time and part-time options, competitive hourly pay, and benefits such as paid time off, training, and travel reimbursement.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
  • Collect data on client behavior during sessions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of care plans.
  • Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination.
