Job summary

Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center seeks motivated individuals to join our in-home ABA therapy team. As a Behavior Technician, you’ll work one-on-one with children in their homes, helping them develop communication, social, and daily living skills using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

No ABA experience? No problem. We offer comprehensive paid training, hands-on guidance, and ongoing support from experienced BCBA clinicians to help you build your skills and grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience working with children is a plus, but not required.
• Available a minimum of 15 hours per week.
• Afternoon/evening availability between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance and registration.
• Willing to travel up to 25 miles for client sessions.
• Strong communication, professionalism, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable learning data collection and behavior intervention techniques.
• Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, play, self-help, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce challenging behaviors using positive, evidence-based strategies.
• Collect accurate session data and complete clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with supervising clinicians to support client progress.
• Communicate professionally with families and caregivers.
• Attend ongoing training and team meetings.
