Job summary

Lighthouse ABA is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to provide in-home ABA therapy for children with autism under BCBA supervision. You will work one-on-one with clients, implementing individualized treatment plans and documenting progress in collaboration with the team.

Ideal candidates are passionate about helping children with special needs, possess strong communication skills, and can commit to part-time hours including evenings and weekends as required by client schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous ABA experience preferred but not required.
• In-home ABA services context is described in the role.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA therapy techniques under supervision of BCBA.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions with individualized treatment plans.
• Teach social, communication and behavioral skills in a supportive environment.
• Foster a positive therapeutic relationship and promote independence.
• Collect data, track progress, and ensure effective treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with BCBA and interdisciplinary team to adjust plans as needed.
• Communicate with parents/caregivers about goals and progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress notes.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development in ABA.
