Job summary

Lighthouse ABA, a New York City-based provider of in-home ABA services for children with autism, seeks a passionate Behavior Technician. You will deliver one-on-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision, building trusted relationships with children and families and contributing to skill development and independence.

Ideal candidates are patient, empathetic, organized, and able to follow individualized treatment plans while maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous ABA experience or working with individuals on the autism spectrum is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA therapy techniques under BCBA supervision.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions tailored to each child's needs.
• Teach social, communication, and behavioral skills in a structured environment.
• Foster a positive therapeutic relationship to promote independence and well-being.
• Conduct assessments, collect data, and track progress of treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with BCBA and interdisciplinary team to modify treatment plans as needed.
• Communicate updates to parents/caregivers about goals and progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and data.
