Job summary

Quanex in Minnesota (Foreston) is seeking a Forklift Driver to join our production team. You will operate forklifts, assist in material handling, and support receiving. Requires 1–2 years forklift experience, OSHA testing, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm, with a pay range of $21–$26/hour based on experience. We offer health, dental & vision from the first of the month after hire, 401(k) with company match, tuition assistance, PTO/holidays, life

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of operating forklifts in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse setting.
• Microsoft Office experience required.
• ERP experience preferred.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks with high concentration.
• Ability to pass OSHA required testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move materials and assist in receiving.
• Follow safety procedures and report issues.
• Attend to scheduled hours and maintain productivity.
• Promote teamwork and assist co-workers as needed.

• What Success Looks Like:


• Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines and identifies any existing or potential safety issues.


• Attends work on time and for the scheduled hours each day.


• Follows operating procedures and notifies supervisor of potential procedural improvements.


• Conducts required preventative maintenance/inspection on forklifts.


• Experience with receiving department.


• Promotes teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.
  

What You Bring

• 1-2 years of operating forklifts with 6 months of experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment.


• Microsoft Office experience, required


• ERP experience, preferred


• Ability to perform repetitive work requiring high levels of concentration.


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.


• Ability to work in fast paced environment.
