Job summary

Quanex is seeking a Forklift Driver in Foreston, MN to support production operations. You will operate forklifts, follow safety procedures, and assist with receiving and material handling in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires 1–2 years of forklift experience, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and OSHA testing. ERP experience is a plus, with a competitive hourly pay and benefits package available.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of operating forklifts in a production/manufacturing/warehouse setting.
• Ability to pass OSHA required testing.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and report potential safety issues.
• Attend work on time and adhere to scheduled hours.

Salary: $21.00-$26.00 per hour, pay based on experience

New Hire Bonus: $1,000, payout increments at 30-days, 60-days and 6-months of employment!

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm

• What Success Looks Like:
• Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines and identifies any existing or potential safety issues.
• Attends work on time and for the scheduled hours each day.
• Follows operating procedures and notifies supervisor of potential procedural improvements.
• Conducts required preventative maintenance/inspection on forklifts.
• Experience with receiving department.
• Promotes teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.

What You Bring:

• 1-2 years of operating forklifts with 6 months of experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment.
• ERP experience, preferred
• Ability to perform repetitive work requiring high levels of concentration.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment.
• Ability to pass OSHA required testing.
