Quanex in Luck, Wisconsin is seeking a Production Associate for 1st shift to help keep production running smoothly by handling, inspecting, sorting, and stacking lumber as it moves through the facility.

The role offers a pay range of $17.00 to $24.48 per hour, with potential for a pay increase at 90 days based on performance. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k) with company match, among others.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of production, assembly, or related work experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Tape measure experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle, inspect, sort, and stack lumber as it moves through the facility.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Ensure quality standards are met and keep work area neat and orderly.
• Accurately complete production documentation.
• Assist in other areas when workload permits.

You will play an important role in keeping production running smoothly by handling, inspecting, sorting, and stacking lumber as it moves through the facility.

Salary:

$17.00 to $24.48 per hour, depending on experience.

• Potential for pay increase up to $1 if meeting or exceeding expectations at 90 day performance review.
• The level for each Production Associate is determined by management based on the ability to train others and number of machines the operator can run while meeting production standards and quality requirements.

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday, 5:00 am - 3:30 pm. Overtime potential on Fridays.
