Job summary

Weida Freight System, Inc. is seeking an Import Customer Service Representative with freight forwarding experience to handle the full import process for ocean and air shipments. You will manage customer communication and ensure smooth cargo movement from origin to destination.

You will coordinate with overseas agents, carriers, customs brokers, and truckers, prepare all required documents, track shipments, and maintain data in CargoWise, while ensuring compliance with U.S. regulations and SOPs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in import freight forwarding.
• Strong understanding of import documentation and U.S. procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage import shipments from origin to delivery.
• Serve as primary contact for import customers with timely updates.
• Collaborate with overseas agents, carriers, customs brokers, and truckers to move cargo.
• Prepare and process documentation including arrival notices, delivery orders, and invoices.
• Track and trace shipments and resolve delays or issues.
• Maintain accurate data entry in the CargoWise system.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and SOPs.
• Assist customers with inquiries and documentation requests.
