Job summary

Toll Group is seeking an Entry Writer in New York to coordinate all documents required by US Customs for entry of goods. You will handle high volumes of customs clearance and provide dedicated customer service to importers.

Responsibilities include auditing files, classifying invoices, data entry for AMS and HTS, and preparing entry documents such as 7501 and 3461. Strong MS Office skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency with Windows OS and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Audit and review brokerage files and payments to customs.
• Classify invoices using US Tariff Book and CROSS.
• Enter AMS data and HTS#; transmit to US Customs.
• Prepare entry documents including 7501 and 3461.
• Maintain compliance for import operation and document handling.
• Answer customer inquiries and coordinate delivery and invoicing.
