Job summary

LOGISTEED America is seeking a detail-oriented Customs Entry Writer to join our Mineola, NY team. You will prepare and process customs entries for imported shipments, classify items under HTS, and monitor ISF filings in a fast-paced environment.

You should have 2+ years in Customs Brokerage or related operations, familiar with CargoWise One, and strong communication skills to coordinate with carriers, customers, and customs officials.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in Customs Brokerage, Freight Forwarding, Import Operations, or Customs Entry Writing.
• Knowledge of customs entry preparation and import clearance procedures.
• HTS classifications and tariff application experience.
• ISF requirements knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office apps.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process Customs entries for imported shipments.
• Classify commodities using HTS.
• Prepare, transmit, and monitor ISF filings.
• Review shipping documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with customers, carriers, Customs officials, and government agencies.
• Maintain accurate shipment records in CargoWise and related systems.
• Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies, clearance delays, and documentation issues.
• Support brokerage invoicing and related administrative activities.
