Qualifications

• 1+ years of import operation or customer service experience is required.
• Entry writing experience is a strong plus.
• Motivated to learn import operations and relevant regulations.
• Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming documents and confirm shipping details against documents.
• Interface with global logistics partners to coordinate international import operations.
• Process import documentation in compliance with regulations in a timely manner.
• Monitor shipments and communicate status to clients and vendors.
• Coordinate logistics by communicating with customers, carriers, vendors, overseas offices and agents.
• Provide timely customer service and escalate issues to supervisor.
• Support warehouse tasks such as basic inventory management and light packing/shipping.
