Job summary

RL People is seeking an Implementation/Transition Manager to lead end-to-end transitions of technical service contracts into BAU operations.

You will own the transition plan, manage stakeholders, ensure readiness, and deliver a smooth go-live with minimal disruption to customers. A track record of 5+ years in implementation/transition and strong cross-functional influence is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in implementation, transition, client onboarding or program management.
• Experience in field services, technical services, logistics, supply chain, 3PL or managed services.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with RACI/RAG, risk management, governance and executive reporting.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience managing SLAs and service partners.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Experience managing multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead transitions from contract award through go-live and BAU handover.
• Own timelines, milestones, RACI, RAG, risks, issues and governance.
• Act as the key contact for clients throughout the transition.
• Coordinate technical readiness, including training, documentation, systems, tools and certifications.
• Ensure field service capacity, partners, inventory and supply chain are ready for launch.
• Manage third-party service partner onboarding and performance.
• Identify and manage scope changes, working with Sales on commercial implications.
• Track transition budgets, SLAs, KPIs and operational readiness.
• Produce clear progress reports for clients and senior stakeholders.
• Lead lessons learned and continuously improve transition processes.
