Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston is seeking a dedicated professional to plan, implement, supervise and evaluate programs across education, athletics, arts & crafts, technology and games room. This role focuses on fostering healthy member relationships and safe, engaging activities.

Responsibilities include recruiting and training volunteers, managing budgets with the Club Director, engaging families, ensuring safety, and maintaining equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years experience working with youth and families.
• Strong oral and written communication; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills including MS Word and Excel.
• Valid Texas driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to interpret Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston programs and philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, supervise and evaluate core program activities across education, athletics, arts & crafts, technology and games room.
• Provide guidance and role modeling to members.
• Recruit, train and manage assigned volunteers; provide ongoing feedback.
• Prepare and monitor department budget with Club Director.
• Engage parents regarding opportunities and participation of club members.
• Ensure a healthy and safe environment; supervise members.
• Manage facilities and maintain inventory of program equipment and supplies.
• Work with Club Director to support staff meetings and program enhancements.
• Participate in special events and required trainings.
