Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Houston seeks a dedicated program support professional to deliver youth development, healthy living and social responsibility initiatives within the membership and community.

Under supervision, you will help plan activities, train staff, ensure safety standards, assist with events and marketing materials, and support center operations to foster inclusive, high quality programs.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, program delivery or related experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivering and coordinating programs to engage members.
• Support Program Director to ensure safety and compliance with YMCA standards.
• Monitor program delivery and provide feedback to improve quality.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding and training new staff and scheduling.
• Help create marketing materials and track registrations for programs.
• Support fundraising events and participate in center leadership activities.
