Job summary

Alpha seeks a Youth Development Specialist to lead one-hour life-skills workshops for K-8 cohorts, coach students to 100% of weekly app goals using Coachbot analytics, and administer mastery assessments.

This is a full-time on-site role across Alpha campuses with relocation support. You will collaborate with campus staff to reinforce motivation and life skills while maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

• Willing to work in person at a Alpha campus across listed U.S. cities.
• Bachelor's degree in any subject.
• At least 3 years working directly with K-8 students in teaching, tutoring, coaching, or youth programs.
• Comfortable letting adaptive learning software deliver instruction while you coach motivation and life-skills.
• A track record of high achievement in academics, athletics, or work.
• Strong stage presence to engage 12-year-olds for long sessions.
• Legal right to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead one-hour life-skills workshops for K-8 cohorts on public speaking, focus, and giving/receiving feedback.
• Run daily 1:1 and small-group motivation sessions using Coachbot analytics and Alpha incentives.
• Administer Test2Pass mastery assessments and re-coach until mastery is achieved.
• Adapt workshop playbook and create new sessions to land concepts with both young children and older students.
• Be the authoritative, supportive adult that students rely on for standards and guidance.
