Job summary

Visit.org is seeking a Site Lead to own and scale our fulfillment and logistics operations in New Jersey. You will lead a high‑velocity team, manage inventory accuracy, SOPs, and vendor relationships while driving KPI improvements and cost discipline.

Qualifications

• Bring 5+ years of hands-on experience in warehouse operations, fulfillment, logistics, inventory management, picking, packing, and shipping, ideally in a fast-paced, high-volume, or startup environment
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse or fulfillment teams, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience and a demonstrated ability to lead from the floor while stepping into operational roles when needed
• Build and document SOPs from the ground up, train teams on new processes, audit adherence, and continuously improve workflows to increase efficiency, quality, and scalability

Responsibilities

• Own the warehouse end to end: receiving, inbound QC, staging, kitting and assembly, pick and pack, outbound QC, palletization, and outbound shipping, plus returns processing
• Lead the site through ramp up: complete and sign off core SOPs, train the team on each one, and bring the operation to steady state
• Build and scale the operating process: document SOPs, train, deploy, audit adherence, and improve them as volume and product mix grow
• Own site safety and housekeeping, including safe equipment use, clear aisles and docks, and incident reporting
• Maintain inventory accuracy across components, raw materials, and finished kits through cycle counts, audits, and system reconciliation
• Keep shipment data up to date in our systems so the rest of the business can trust it
• Hire/schedule, onboard, supervise, and coach a team of associates, starting small and scaling with volume
