Job summary

Mid American Credit Union is seeking a Training Coordinator to onboard new staff and deliver ongoing training across live, classroom, and video environments. You will partner with supervisors to assess needs and ensure training materials are accurate and up to date.

The role requires strong written and verbal communication, empathy, and the ability to travel up to five days at a stretch. A High School diploma or GED is required with proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Outlook.

Qualifications

• Education - High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience - Six months to two years of delivering exceptional service with empathy, patience and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Outlook software (Outlook, Word and Excel).
• Other – Professional appearance and punctuality.
• Must be able to travel up to five consecutive days and four nights out of town.

Responsibilities

• Conducts training with incoming new staff in live, classroom and/or video environments.
• Tracks the progress of trainees through routine tests, observations and feedback.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of current training.
• Continually works with supervisors to identify reinforcement training needs.
• Trains existing staff on ongoing system enhancements and related policy/procedural changes.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date training manuals.
• Develops a variety of learning and performance support solutions.
• Participates in delivery of operations change management meetings.
• Works with staff to ensure systems are utilized consistently across the organization.
• Partners with subject matter experts to develop/maintain training curriculum and requirements.
• Facilitates needs assessments to diagnose training and development needs of existing staff.
• Completes periodic training pertaining to updates in policies and procedures.
