The Salvation Army Clitheroe Center/ADOC SATS Program in Alaska is seeking a SATS Counselor to manage a caseload, facilitate treatment groups, and ensure adherence to the SATS contract. You will perform SBIRT and ASAM assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and coordinate referrals and reentry planning.

Responsibilities include conducting group sessions on chemical dependency and related issues, documenting progress, and maintaining compliance with program standards.

Qualifikationen

• Alaska State Counselor Technician Certification required.
• Knowledgeable of substance-related and addictive disorders and their treatment.
• CDCI/CDC II certificate preferred; ability to obtain CDCI within one year of hire.
• Must have Alaska State Counselor Technician certificate or equivalent.
• Must pass ADOC background check and PREA screening.

Aufgaben

• Conduct SBIRT and ASAM assessments, orientation for new clients, develop treatment plans, referrals and reentry planning as needed.
• Facilitate groups addressing chemical dependency, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders per approved curriculum.
• Monitor client progress toward treatment goals and curriculum completion.
• Complete documentation timely and in compliance with contract requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
