Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide skilled therapy in patients' homes within the community. You will evaluate language, speech, and swallowing difficulties and develop individualized treatment plans.

You will work with patients who have had strokes or degenerative conditions, delivering compassionate care in home settings and coordinating with attending physicians to support recovery and communication goals.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Must possess automobile liability insurance.
• Must wear seat belts at all times while driving.
• Dependable transportation kept in good working condition.
• Must be able to drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
• Currently licensed as an SLP in the State of Employment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide skilled speech-language therapy to individuals in a home setting.
• Treat patients with language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, and cognitive communication difficulties.
• Support patients who have experienced a stroke or progressive diseases such as Parkinson’s disease and dementia.
