Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide direct rehab care in speech therapy for patients referred by physicians, in accordance with laws and Life Care standards.

The position requires an MS/MA in SLP, state licensure, ASHA CCCs or eligibility for CFY, CPR certification, and 1 year experience preferred; new grads are welcome. You will collaborate with the care team, document therapy progress, and support patients and families in a post-acute setting.

Qualifications

• MS/MA in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
• ASHA CCCs or eligibility for CFY; maintain credentialing.
• Current state licensure in good standing.
• CPR certification at hire or during orientation.
• 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Establish, assess, and modify functional therapy goals.
• Oversee and evaluate CFY/trainee SLPs where applicable.
• Follow treatment plans under supervision and in accordance with guidelines.
• Chart accurately and timely patient progress.
• Utilize therapy software effectively.
• Maintain excellent customer service with patients and families.
• Ensure confidentiality of all information.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team across departments.
