Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct rehab care in speech therapy to patients upon physician referral, in accordance with all applicable laws and Life Care standards. Graduate of an accredited program in speech therapy (minimum MS or MA SLP).

ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility required; active state licensure and CPR certification on hire or during orientation. New grads welcome; 1 year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• MS or MA in Speech-Language Pathology.
• ASHA CCCs OR eligible for CFY.
• Current state licensure and active status.
• CPR certification must be current during employment.

Responsibilities

• Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate
• Liaisons with patients, families, support departments, etc., to plan for patient needs
• Demonstrate good body mechanics
• Possess ability to make independent decisions when warranted
• Understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
• Display integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care’s Code of Conduct
