Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program (MS/MA).
• ASHA CCCs or eligibility for CFY; must obtain/maintain credentialing.
• Active state license in good standing throughout employment.
• One year of experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; must stay current.

Responsibilities

• Participate in community health matters and projects as appropriate.
• Plan effectively with patients, families, and departments to meet needs.
• Maintain professional body mechanics and make independent decisions when needed.
• Understand laws, regulations, and guidelines governing post-acute care.
• Implement department programs, goals, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain patient rights, safety, and sanitation in all tasks.
