Job summary

Life Care Centers of America seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to provide direct rehab care in speech therapy for patients upon physician referral, following all applicable laws and Life Care standards.

Requirements include MS/MA in SLP, IN licensure, ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility, CPR, and 1 year experience preferred with new grads welcome. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and email is expected, with collaboration on an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• MS or MA in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• ASHA CCCs or eligible for CFY to earn ASHA certification.
• Active IN state license and maintenance in good standing.
• 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification by hire and maintaining current status.

Responsibilities

• Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and email.
• Liaisons with patients, families, and other departments to plan patient needs.
• Demonstrate good body mechanics at all times.
• Make independent decisions when warranted.
• Follow laws, regulations, and Life Care guidelines in post-acute care.
