Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a compassionate Speech‑Language Pathologist to empower students and schools. You will evaluate needs, communicate findings, and develop evidence‑based interventions within ARD processes.

You may deliver therapy or supervise assistants to meet IEP goals, while tracking progress and collaborating with families and district staff. The position requires a Master’s in Speech‑Language Pathology, Texas licensure, and ASHA CCC‑SLP; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active license to practice as a Speech‑Language Pathologist in Texas.
• ASHA CCC‑SLP certification.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate needs: conduct comprehensive speech‑language evaluations to identify students’ needs for therapy services.
• Communicate findings: share evaluation results with parents and district personnel clearly and compassionately.
• Develop interventions: collaborate with the ARD committee to create evidence‑based targeted interventions.
• Provide therapy: deliver services directly or supervise assistants in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor progress: maintain accurate records and use data to adjust interventions as needed.
• Support team: participate in ARD meetings and parent conferences to advocate for students’ programs.

Education

Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology

Texas licensure to practice as a Speech‑Language Pathologist

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP)

Bilingual skills (preferred)
