Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise teacher for grades 6-12 who is an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills. The role emphasizes using LifeWise curriculum to engage students while maintaining records and fostering a supportive classroom environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of classroom teaching experience and a mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy’s Statement of Faith.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Must be a mature Christian with a faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise classes using LifeWise curriculum and map lesson plans.
• Complete initial and ongoing training and participate in annual LifeWise Summit.
• Maintain accurate attendance and class rosters, health notes, and permission records.
• Maintain an organized classroom and promote student engagement.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director; share updates and stories.
