Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full school year contract near Tacoma, WA. The role offers 37.5 hours per week delivering therapy to students and supporting IEP goals.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology with an SLP-CCC and WA licensure, plus experience in school or pediatric settings. Collaboration with educators and families is essential for student progress.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) for practicing as an SLP in Washington.
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly valued.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills for collaboration with educators, students, and families.
• Commitment to culturally responsive practices and inclusive support for diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to students across a range of ages and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), regularly tracking progress and making adjustments.
• Conduct assessments, document findings, and provide clear recommendations.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, counselors, and special education staff to integrate support in classroom environments.
• Engage families in the intervention process through regular updates and resource sharing.
• Maintain compliance with all state, district, and federal documentation requirements.
