Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as an SLP in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain).
• Experience in school settings strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Enthusiasm for working with students from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group, as outlined in IEPs.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, administrators, and other support staff.
• Document therapy progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings.
• Provide input and resources to help integrate language interventions within the classroom.
• Stay up to date on best practices and compliance standards in school-based therapy.
