Qualifications

  • Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy for students with IEPs and select speech-only cases.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to monitor progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and communication.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and advocate for student goals.
  • Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed.

Job description

Step into a fulfilling opportunity as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist working 0.4 – 2 days per week for the full academic year, supporting students in grades 6 through 8. This contract role is based near Berwyn, IL, and focuses on delivering specialized services to middle schoolers, primarily those with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), along with select speech-only students who do not receive special education services.
