Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a local contract School Speech Language Pathologist for a Belvidere, Illinois assignment. The role involves working with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and report results to parents and school staff. The SLP will develop and implement IEPs, monitor goals, and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Qualifications include Master’s in SLP, ISBE PEL, IL SLP license, ASHA certification, and BLS. 37.5 hours weekly, 8-hour days.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Professional Educator License (PEL) from ISBE required.
• Illinois SLP License required.
• ASHA Certification required or preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team.
• Develop and implement IEPs for students and review goals and objectives for appropriate care plans.
• Establish a positive learning environment and provide response to intervention for students.
