Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a school-based Occupational Therapist for a full-time contract near Newark, MD. The position starts in November and serves students within an educational setting.

You will deliver therapy per educational plans, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate with teachers to integrate therapy strategies into classrooms. The role targets applicants with an active Maryland OT license (or eligibility) and experience in schools or pediatrics.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland OT license or eligibility to obtain prior to the start date
• Experience working in schools or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
• Ability to assess, develop, and implement therapy plans tailored to each student
• Comfortable working with IEPs and supporting students with a range of abilities

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled occupational therapy services to students as indicated in their educational plans
• Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings to help determine therapy needs and goals
• Work closely with teachers and staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom environment
• Document progress, maintain records, and communicate regularly with families and team members
• Support student success by promoting independence in daily school activities
