Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide school-based therapy services for the 2026-2027 school year in Newark, DE. The OT will collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to support students’ participation, functional skills, sensory needs, and independence.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s degree from ACOTE-accredited programs, have active state licensure (or the ability to obtain it), and preferably experience in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from ACOTE accredited university.
• Active state licensure and/or certification OR ability to obtain.
• Experience working in schools or with children is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides occupational therapy services to exceptional children students.
• Evaluates, screens, and observes students.
• Write evaluation reports, progress notes, and individualized education plans.
• Communicates and coordinates therapy with parents, teachers, and administrators.
• Performs other related tasks as required.
