Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials for school-based practice.
• Experience delivering OT services in educational settings, including assessments, goal setting, and progress monitoring.
• Strong understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and compliance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to design and implement effective, evidence-based interventions tailored to student needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate OT strategies into daily routines.
• Deliver targeted therapy sessions addressing fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive skills.
• Monitor and document student progress, providing updates and recommendations at IEP meetings.
• Advocate for student access to appropriate tools, modifications, and support in the school environment.
