Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Behavior Technician for a school-based role in Westchester County, NY. This part-time position follows the school calendar and offers daytime hours (approximately 25–32 hours weekly) with pay in the $25–$29 per hour range.

You will support students under supervision, collaborate with teachers and therapists, and help implement behavior plans, data collection, and skill acquisition programs while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and empathy when working with children with special needs.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities in a school setting.
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical guidelines in education and healthcare.
• Experience with students with autism and/or maladaptive behaviors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to goals and needs of students in collaboration with supervisors.
• Work with school personnel to support student success in the classroom.
• Assist with behavior support plans and data collection.
• Provide daily living support and help with transitions.
• Maintain safe, inclusive learning environments and confidentiality.
