Job summary

Family of Kidz in Suffolk County is seeking dedicated 1:1 Aides- Behavior Technician for school-based roles. This part-time position offers flexible hours based on school schedules and provides the chance to work closely with children to support learning and behavioral goals.

Responsibilities include data collection with a supervising Behavior Consultant, addressing client needs professionally, maintaining confidentiality, and collaborating with families and therapists.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months ABA working with children or adolescents with Autism in a supervised setting.
• Successful completion of or current enrollment in an undergraduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education or related field.
• Critical thinker with a problem-solving mind.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with a Behavior Consultant clinical supervisor to collect data.
• Respond to the goals, needs and requests of clients, their families and supervisors, on an individualized basis and in a professional manner.
• Goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work.
• Maintain the confidentiality of information regarding clients and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
