Job summary

Harmony Village of Clawson in Michigan seeks a Registered Nurse to provide quality nursing care to residents, coordinate total nursing care, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. You will work with the Director of Nursing and Unit Managers to set goals, supervise staff, document care, and provide daily and periodic reports.

The role includes rounds with physicians, wound care, IV therapy, medication administration, creating and updating care plans, and mentoring CNAs.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan license as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• Two years of professional nursing experience in the long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident conditions and develop care plans with documentation in PCC.
• Make rounds with a physician; observe symptoms and adjust interventions as needed.
• Provide preventive, supportive, maintenance, and rehabilitative care.
• Administer medications and monitor for contraindications per policy.
• Mentor CNAs, communicate with nursing leadership, and ensure regulatory compliance.
