Job summary

Hammer Residences, Inc. seeks a Program Manager to direct daily operations of a community-based residential program for adults with IDD. You will oversee medical, financial, social, and emotional needs, supervise staff, ensure licensing compliance, and champion person-centered values.

You will partner with the Program Director, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and lead program improvements while ensuring safety and quality of care across services.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in social services or related field and one year of full-time experience in the field of developmental disabilities to manage an ICF-MR licensed program.
• Two-year college degree and two years of full-time experience in the field of developmental disabilities to manage a waiver program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including fluency in English and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory oversight, technical guidance and advice to staff.
• Plan, implement and evaluate the programs, services and activities provided in the program.
• Facilitate the interdisciplinary team in developing plans to meet individuals’ needs.
• Supervise staff and ensure training and orientation per Hammer & NER practices.
• Respond to emergencies and report accidents and injuries.
• Maintain operating budget and authorize expenses; prepare for licensing inspections.
