Job summary

Hammer Residences seeks a Program Director to oversee five to ten community-based residential programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will lead Program Managers, manage program and financial operations, and ensure compliance with licensing and Hammer’s person-centered philosophy.

The role requires a four-year degree in social services or related field and relevant leadership experience, with readiness for flexible hours and after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• Must meet Designated Coordinator criteria as outlined in 245D.
• Four-year college degree in social services or related field and one year of full-time experience, or a 2-year degree with four years of full-time experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations for five to ten residential programs and manage 5–10 Program Managers.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, licensing, and policy adherence across sites.
• Lead budgeting, staffing, coaching, performance evaluations, and staff development.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and external committees to promote visibility and partnerships.
• Maintain person-centered, relational, opportunistic, and stewardship values in service delivery.
