Job summary

QCR Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Residential Lender to generate residential mortgage loans by soliciting individual borrowers, realtors, builders and networking groups.

The role covers origination, evaluation of loan applications, and assisting in closings within a compliant banking environment. The candidate should have 3+ years in sales or client service in financial services, strong communication skills, and familiarity with lending procedures and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in sales or client service; financial services industry experience desired.
• Experience with lending procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Registration with NMLS under SAFE Act is required or will be required within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Generate residential mortgage loans through solicitation of individual borrowers, realtors, builders, developers, colleagues and networking groups.
• Originate, close, and maintain secured and secondary market real estate loans.
• Receive and evaluate mortgage loan applications and provide preliminary approvals.
• Communicate loan decisions and ensure closing documents are prepared.
• Direct and participate in loan closings and monitor portfolio market conditions.
