Knowledge Services is seeking an Eligibility Specialist in Seymour, Indiana, to assist with processing applications for TANF, SNAP, and Medicaid under the DFR program.

Responsibilities include data collection, verification, document retrieval, and program eligibility determination, with a strong emphasis on client service and regulatory compliance. Training provided; wage is $18.00/hr and a 37.5-hr week.

Qualifications

• Highly organized and analytical team player.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Solid computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• 2 years’ experience in a social service environment is desired.
• Prefer a Bachelor or Associate degree in Counseling or Social Services.

Responsibilities

• Eligibility Specialists gather data for all relevant assistance programs with clients.
• Verify all information is gathered accurately and meets state policies.
• Obtain release forms and medical records as needed.
• Verify income, assets, and other financial documents.
• Review regulations and program requirements with clients.
• Data entry into state database.
• Respond to inquiries by phone or email.
