Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of public assistance policy, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to review data matches and ensure accurate benefit determinations.
• Experience with SNAP, TANF, Medicaid programs preferred.
• Skilled in conducting full eligibility interviews.
• Capable of traveling as required with reasonable accommodation.
• No degree required; candidates with relevant experience are considered.

Responsibilities

• Review all eligibility recommendations and information provided by contract staff.
• Make an eligibility determination for benefits and waiver programs.
• Examine data matches to find inconsistent data.
• Approve claims calculated by the Contractor.
• Conduct full eligibility interviews for SNAP, TANF and Medicaid.
• Keep current on changes in rules, regulations, and guidelines.
